Photo Area has been removed from Attribute Editor tab

I think I messed up my Photo Link.  The other day I was editing the attributes for my photos on the Attribute Editor tab.  The photos were displayed in a single file column on the left.  I could select a photo from this column and then the attributes for that photo were displayed on the right.  Well, I needed to arrange these windows a little differently, so I clicked and dragged the Photo Area over to my second monitor.  It worked just fine for that project.  However, now when I open Photo…

We have a couple of old cameras, both Ricoh Caplio Pro G3, one from 2004 and the other from 2006.  Will the newest Ricoh software work for downloading pictures on the old cameras (Caplio Pro G3)? Will the latest version of GPS-Photo Link (5.1) work to process pictures taken with said cameras?

Question: How does one edit the Report Layout?

I love how GPS-Photo Link makes a report with your photos and info, but I use it for work, and they have already have a format for Official Photo Logs. If I could modify the layout then making the report would be automatic once the info was fine tuned for the photos.

A problem with time stamp

I just bought the pro version 5.1 of your software, I am having a recurrent problem with this software that keeps tagging with the wrong time the watermarked photos, 1 out of 2 sets of pictures that I process have this problem, is there a solution for that? the time is 2 or more minutes ahead of the time that I define.

ArcGIS Links

How can I view the picture links to the shapefiles I've created from GPS-photo link from my Ricoh 500se camera in ArcGIS 10? Or how can I install the toolbar extension? I get everything added in ArcMap, points, attributes, locations, but when I Identify in ArcMap and try to click on a link, it wont allow me to.See More

FOV attribute

How is the FOV attribute calculated and used in generating the FOV polygons?I recently updated to the new version (5.1.29) of GPS Photolink and the FOV polygons generated are much 'skinnier'.  Some playing around with the EXIF headers led me to figure out that changing the focal length changes the FOV.  Previously, images with focal length of 35mm, f-stop - f/7.1, led to FOV of 42.  Running the same image through the new version leads to a FOV of 10.4.Changing the focal length in the EXIF…See More

1 Export, 3 copies of the files = wasted space

With older copies of the software, it would export to a subfolder of the folder I was exporting the google earth files.  This folder was generally 1-5 mb. Now with the current version of the software, it copies the photos to "Input", "Working", and "Output" folders which is creating exessive redundant files.  An example is I have one project that had 300 photos, which was about 300 gb.  When photolink was done, I had a new folder that was 1.2 gb in addition to the 300 gb folder.  This is a…See More

asortnuDoes Photolink software work within Parallels software?

I am trying to help a friend who has a Ricoh Capillo 500SE running Photolink software.  He has a Macbook, with Parallels running on it  (software that runs on a Mac for the purpose of running PC-based software).  He says nearly all software he has run within Parallels works ok, but not Photolink.  If it is known that Photolink will not work in Parallels, then that would be useful to know.  Otherwise, any guidance on how to make it work would be gratefully accepted.See More
