We have officially released the new GeoJot+

We have officially released the new GeoJot+ field data collection system! The new subscription-based solution is built on GPS-Photo Link and GeoJot. Photo Area has been removed from Attribute Editor tab

I think I messed up my Photo Link.  The other day I was editing the attributes for my photos on the Attribute Editor tab.  The photos were displayed in a single file column on the left.  I could select a photo from this column and then the attributes for that photo were displayed on the right.  Well, I needed to arrange these windows a little differently, so I clicked and dragged the Photo Area over to my second monitor.  It worked just fine for that project.  However, now when I open Photo…

"Patrick, It will still say Lat/Lon on the coordinate settings screen, but it should be listing Northing and Easting in the GPS section of the Data tab in the Data Editor. "

"The Coordinate System is the same (same project). It is in NAD83 / UTM zone 9n (metric) Could it have something to do with the display only being in Lat Long in the project settings, but the geo ref photo showing the Northing and Easting?"

Panorama Function in GeoJot+ (have G700SE with no Panorama Function)

The G700SE camera does not have panorama functionality. Does GeoSpatial Experts envision adding a function to GeoJot that could allow the merging of photos and GPS Data to permit their use in photo reports?See More

Possible to Sync photos by time properly WITHOUT GeoTAG wizard

Hello,Long time fan of GPS Photolink.   Say we have a 3 camera job, all cameras were slightly off in time, but we have a time sync photo from each camera that allows us to calibrate each camera job to good time.  But, no GPS data taken, nor shapes generated.  I'm looking for a way to sync photos (like a reset photos to true time method), and allow a time sync process to occur without the GeoTag wizard.   As you know, the GeoTag wizard is the only place to correct for time.thanks.See More

Tyler McGarrity replied to Tyler Smith's discussion Re-geotagging Photos via Geotag Wizard?
"Ty, Should be possible. All you need to do is run the Geotag Wizard, point it to the Shape file, map the fields that you need to, and then match the time up. The time allows for the photos to be properly placed and can be the tricky part of doing…"

Re-geotagging Photos via Geotag Wizard?

Hi All -I am trying to regeotag my photos using the geotag wizard. Is this possible? We are conducting a utility asset management program.I originally took the photos with an Apple Mini iPad (GPS enabled, no 4G network) using the GeoJot+ app. The iPad had an accuracy of about +/- 16 feet, which is not accurate enough for the client. We later brought in surveyors to collect precise GPS points of the photographed assets (as well as many others).I was hoping to use GeoJot's Geotag Wizard to…See More

"Steven, What version are you using? The toolbar that version 5.2.10 adds only works in Arc 10.1 or earlier. The way around this is to sign up the GeoJot+ trial from our website and download Core. Install Core (you don't have to ever use it) and…"
